New Year Resolutions
New year: what does that mean to me? A chronologically new territory? Is it like a switch, that is going to change something?
Maybe not. But, I believe, it is a good time to reflect, and refresh our minds/ideas/thoughts. And of course, resolutions.
Now, sometimes, it is laughable to make new resolutions. For example, a friend made a resolution that he shall lead his life honestly and truthfully and dutiful. Fine, but, does it mean that he wasn’t already honest and truthfull and dutiful? Huh?
Well. My idea is: New year time is good for coming up with fresh ideas. It’s a holiday season, so you get some free time. Also, it always helps to reflect on the by-gones (before letting them go, of course), and start your new year with new thoughts.
So. Here is what I resolve to do:
Me shalt:
Let go all the dark shadows (grudges, prejudices etc) from the past.
Not let anything affect my inner peace of mind.
Get over following four: Worry, Anger, Greed and Envy.
Never complain about anything or anyone.
Take one day at a time.
And (Drumrolls, please)
Write Blog.
Happy New Year, everyone.
