Chakra Cleansing Meditation Practice

Step by Step Guide to Chakra Cleansing Meditation


a. Sit down in a comfortable position.
b. Take three deep breaths.
c. For each of the following 7 chakras,
    - Imagine the chakra as a circular opening or a door or a flower.
    - Open the chakra.
    - Remove blockages in the chakra, if you feel any.
    - When all chakras are open, imagine energy flowing into all chakras.
    - Close out all chakras.

 1. Root Chakra: 

Purpose: Grounding, stability, sense of safety.

Affirmation: I am safe, and grounded.

Mantra: Lam (pronounced "lum") 

 

2. Sacral Chakra:

Purpose: Creativity, emotions, relationships.

Affirmation: I am life. I am creative and passionate.

Mantra: Vam (pronounced "vum") 


3. Solar plexus Chakra: 

Purpose: Personal power, confidence, wisdom, energy.

Affirmation: I am strong, confident and empowered.

Mantra: Ram (pronounced "rum") 


4. Heart Chakra: 

Purpose: Love, compassion, balance.

Affirmation: I am loved and loving.

Mantra: Yam (pronounced "yum") 

 

5. Throat Chakra:

Purpose: Communication, truth, self-expression.

Affirmation: I am true, honest and expressive.

Mantra: Ham (pronounced "hum") 

 

6. Third eye Chakra: 

Purpose: Intuition, clarity, inner wisdom.

Affirmation: I am intuitive and aware.

Mantra: Om or Aum (pronounced "aum") 

 

7. Crown Chakra:

Purpose: Spiritual connection, higher consciousness, unity. 

Affirmation: I am connected and at peace.

Mantra: Silence or the sound Om/Aum
