🌈 Chants & Thoughts for Each Chakra During Reiki

 


Generally, it's a good practice to silently chant one or more of the following affirmations for each chakra.
“This chakra is open and flowing in harmony.
“This chakra is returning to balance.
“Energy here is being nourished and restored.”

1. Root Chakra (Muladhara) – Base of spine

  • Beej (seed) mantra: LAM

  • Affirmations / Thoughts:

    • “You are safe and grounded.”

    • “You belong here.”

    • “All is well. You are secure.”


2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – Lower abdomen

  • Beej mantra: VAM

  • Affirmations / Thoughts:

    • “You are free to feel and express your emotions.”

    • “Creativity flows through you.”

    • “You deserve joy and pleasure.”


3. Solar Plexus (Manipura) – Upper abdomen

  • Beej mantra: RAM

  • Affirmations / Thoughts:

    • “You are strong and confident.”

    • “You have the power to create your life.”

    • “Your inner fire shines brightly.”


4. Heart Chakra (Anahata) – Center of chest

  • Beej mantra: YAM

  • Affirmations / Thoughts:

    • “You are loved and loving.”

    • “Your heart is open to give and receive.”

    • “Compassion flows freely.”


5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – Throat

  • Beej mantra: HAM

  • Affirmations / Thoughts:

    • “You express yourself freely and truthfully.”

    • “Your voice matters.”

    • “You speak with clarity and love.”


6. Third Eye (Ajna) – Between eyebrows

  • Beej mantra: OM (sometimes written as AUM)

  • Affirmations / Thoughts:

    • “Your intuition is clear and trusted.”

    • “You see truth in all situations.”

    • “Inner wisdom guides you.”


7. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – Top of head

  • Beej mantra: OM (elongated, or silence itself)

  • Affirmations / Thoughts:

    • “You are connected to divine energy.”

    • “You are one with the universe.”

    • “Peace, bliss, and unity flow through you.”


How to use these while giving Reiki:

  • Silently repeat the beej mantra or affirmation while your hands rest (or hover) over that chakra.

  • Match the rhythm with your breathing to deepen your focus.

  • Trust your intuition: sometimes one affirmation or mantra will feel “right” for that person at that time.
